The Central Virginia Business Directory contains listings for over 8,500 companies.  In the midst of that crowd, you would like your company to be noticed by our 8,000+ visitors each day.  Our membership plan will help you get noticed.

If you sign up now, you will benefit from the growth and promotion projects for the Directory.  We will be working with you because we are just as interested as you are in becoming noticed on the Internet and in Central Virginia.  Let our advertising budget work for you as well.

The Benefits of Membership

  Your company will be placed on a monthly rotation of platinum member sites which will be displayed from a link in the Business Directory. You will have a choice of linking your featured listing with or without your company-supplied logo.

  Your company name will be put in bold print so that your name will stand out in the Directory listings.  The Yellow Pages in the telephone directory use this method to help companies get noticed in their pages.

  You get an additional page of detailed information about your company (your ) created from information which you supply.  Click here to see an example of this page.

  You get your company  logo or one picture displayed on your detail page.   Pictures are limited to 20K and 400 by 400 pixels.  We can adjust picture sizes if needed.

  We will put a link on the top of your main category page where your company is listed in the Directory that links directly to your company's listing (see example).  If more than one Platinum member is on a category page, the listings will be shown in chronological order based on the date the membership began and is continuously maintained.  Thus companies who join the program first will be listed first as long as they maintain their membership.

Important: The limit is six platinum sites per category. However, when a category contains duplicate pages, the limit is ten platinum sites to be posted on the main index page for that category.

  As a part of your membership, you may select one of the following listing enhancements:

  1. A banner (designed by your company) displayed with your directory listing.

  2. A five-line description showing toll-free numbers, hours of operation and/or major services and products directly under your listing.

  3. Up to three additional category listings for your company in the category pages.  If you sell several products, your companies name can appear in three more locations (a total of four counting your free listing). 

  4. Unlimited restaurant symbols for companies listed in the restaurant category.

  You may display any of the logos on this page (including the one below) anywhere on your company's web site where you want attention drawn to your special status in the Central Virginia Business Directory.  Use of these logos is limited to current members who have paid their annual membership fee and who agree to include a link with the logo to the following page:

The Cost of Membership

Membership in the Central Virginia Business Directory Platinum Member Program is $299 per year or $100 per quarter.  (That's only $24.92 per month for a year's membership!) The cost for the second year is $150 and subsequent years are $99.
